Sinapis alba
.Nectar dispenser for beneficial insects, spicy mustard seeds and green manure to improve soil structure.
Yellow mustard is a great nectar dispenser for insects and contributes to natural nutrient enrichment and soil loosening. Due to its fast growth, it can also be sown quite late. With a dense plant stand, weeds are suppressed and the soil is protected from drying out. If the plants are allowed to mature, spicy mustard seeds can also be harvested for use in the kitchen.
